Police appeal after teens assaulted in Wolverhampton
Two teenage boys were approached by a group wearing balaclavas
Police are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Wednesfield Park earlier this month.
The force says on April 15th. two teenage boys were approached by a group of teenagers wearing balaclavas.
It’s understood one of them was in possession of a knife.
Both victims were assaulted but their injuries are not believed to be life changing or threatening.
An iPhone belonging to one of the victims was also stolen.
Since the incident, officers have made CCTV enquiries and also recovered the stolen phone.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of threatening a person with a blade in a public place and wounding.
He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Officers are now appealing for witnesses and more information.
