Police appeal following fatal crash near Bridgnorth

A motorcyclist died after colliding with a 4x4 in Quatford, near Bridgnorth, Shropshire.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a man in his 40s died in a collision in Quatford, Shroshire.

A motorcyclist and a 4x4 went into each other on the A442 in Quatford, between Bridgnorth and Kidderminster at around 10am yesterday (15 Sept). The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

West Mercia Police said: "Anyone who witnessed the collision, has dashcam footage of the incident, or in the moments before, is asked to contact police.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “Upon arrival we found a man who was the motorcyclist who had sustained life-threatening injuries.

“Ambulance staff administered advanced life support to him at the scene.

“Unfortunately, it became clear that nothing more could be done to save him and he was confirmed deceased by ambulance staff at the scene.”

No arrests have been made.
