Man dies after Shropshire crash

The man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene on the A41 near Wrekin.

A man was killed in a crash on the A41 in Shropshire last night after two cars collided with each other.

Emergency services were called to the scene from the Hand Lane Junction towards Wrekin.

West Mercia Police told us: "We received a call around 8.20pm yesterday evening (28 May) with a report of a collision on the A41 from the Hand Lane Junction towards Wrekin.

"Officers attended the collision to find two vehicles involved and one of those vehicles had caught on fire.

"A man in his 20s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene."
