Man charged with conspiracy to murder following Walsall disorder

Police have charged a man with conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent, following disorder in Walsall.

Kamran Moore, who's 21, was remanded to appear at Walsall Magistrates Court today (21 November) for a first hearing.

It's after disorder broke out at around 11.50pm on 31 July, in Reedswood Lane, Birchills.

Mr Moore has also been charged with possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life, possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and possessing a knife in a public place.

Two other men, aged 34 and 30, were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and have been bailed with strict conditions.

Police say they've arrested several other men in relation to the incident.
