Man arrested over attempted rapes in Wolverhampton
Police patrols have been stepped up.
A man has been arrested in connection with the attempted rapes of two women in Wolverhampton.
The 22-year-old man is also being questioned on suspicion of several other offences.
After an appeal by West Midlands Police, officers spotted the suspect on Park Lane just after 1.30pm yesterday (26 August).
He tried to run off, but officers tackled him to the floor and arrested him.
The force said it would continue to have officers on patrol in the Park Village area of Wolverhampton.
A statement added: "We understand the alarm this will have caused in the community. Please talk to us if you have any concerns."
