Kanda family calling for Prime Minister support in Knife Crime Campaign
They've started a petition to ban the sale of online knives.
The Kanda family, from Wolverhampton, are calling for support from the Prime Minister through their petition to end the online sale of weapons.
Ronan Kanda was stabbed twice from behind when walking home from a friends house last June.
The weapon used to stab him was a sword that had been purchased on the internet - by a teenager using his mum's bank account.
Now Ronan's family want to make sure history doesn't repeat itself.
They've launched an anti-knife crime campaign focusing on the ban of online sales of weapons.
Ronan's mum Pooja, said: "If buying weapons online weren't available then my son would be here today.
"So, I've written to the Prime Minister to ban weapons online like swords, machetes, and all bladed articles.
"I'd urge parents look at what their children are doing, if there's a change in their behaviour or patterns and if they are doing any strange activity online."
Pooja also want's the petition to be about keeping Ronan's legacy alive.
She said: "This knife crime has taken everything from us and I want everyone to see what a beautiful boy he was."
So far, the campaign has seen a march in Ronan's name to raise awareness around their mission.
The petition has also gained nearly 7,000 signatures of people in support.
