A JustGiving page has been created after a 12-year-old boy died in Telford on Friday (16 June).

Joshua collapsed at The Telford Langley School in Dawley, Telford, shortly after 2:30pm. He was rushed to hospital, but he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.

The fundraiser page said: "It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of Joshua's untimely passing at the tender age of 12. His infectious laughter, kind heart, and boundless enthusiasm touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him.

"In the midst of this profound loss, we stand together to extend our support to Joshua's parents, who now face the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye to their beloved son. In addition to the emotional burden they bear, they also confront the daunting task of arranging a proper farewell for their precious son, Joshua.

We recognise that while no amount of support can fully heal their hearts, we can come together as a community to provide some relief in their time of need. With that in mind, we have launched this JustGiving campaign in loving memory of Joshua. Our goal is to alleviate the financial strain on his parents during this difficult period."

Yesterday, his family described him as a "joker" who like to spend time with his friends and on his bike.

His death is not being treated as suspicious. West Midlands Ambulance Service described his death as a "medical incident".
