Four local athletes named in Team GB squad for European Athletics Championships
It's taking place in Rome on June 7.
Four local athletes from the West Midlands have been named as part of the Team GB squad for the European Athletics Championships.
They're taking place in Rome from June 7 - June 12.
Those locally who have made this are:
- Andrew Pozzi (Stratford-upon-Avon)
- Thomas Randolph (Tamworth)
- Adam Fogg (Coventry)
- Charlie Carvell (Telford)
Pozzi will compete in the 110m hurdles, Randolph in the 800m, Fogg will be in the 1500m and Carvell will be part of the 4x400m team.
The Championship kicks off in just over a weeks time.
