Former headteacher raises thousands for Parkinson's after mum and sister diagnosed
Mark Lanyon's written a book about his mum's battle before her death

A former headteacher from Bearwood's written a book called "Who Stole Grandma?" to help raise money for Parkinson's UK.
Mark Lanyon's mum, Moosh, battled the disease for around 12 years before her death.
Now his sister has been diagnosed with it.
Parkinson’s is the fastest growing neurological condition in the world, and currently there is no cure.
In the UK, around 145,000 people are already living with Parkinson’s.
Every hour, two more people are diagnosed. That’s the same as 18,000 people every year.
1 in 37 people alive today will be diagnosed with Parkinson’s in their lifetime.
Mark's helping those who have been diagnosed, by writing the free book, with his earnings being donated to the charity in June and July.
People who buy it are also being asked to make a donation.
So far, almost ÂŁ3000 has been raised.
