Cadbury World unveils Christmas dinner made entirely out of chocolate
Chocolatiers have used over 600 Dairy Milk bars to create the festive feast.
With the festive period well and truly upon us, the chocolatiers at Cadbury World have been busy making their own Christmas spirit.
Staff there have made a typical Christmas dinner made entirely out of chocolate.
They used the equivalent of 667 standard Dairy Milk chocolate bars to make the lunch, including a turkey, carrots, gravy boat, and pigs in blankets. Even the table and table cloth are made out of chocolate.
Speaking about the delectable display, Cadbury World General Manager Gerrard Baldwin said: “It’s the most wonderful time of the year... to be at Cadbury World! We always set out to create a showstopper creation for the festive season that captures festive fun, and we’re sure this creation will bring a smile to guest’s faces. Cadbury has celebrated Christmas for 200 years, and we wanted to showcase the staple Christmas dinner this year.
“I am always amazed by the talent of the chocolatiers here at Cadbury World, the creativity and skill that went into making the terrific turkey is truly unbelievable and never fails to impress me.
“Whatever floats your gravy boat, there’s so much going on here at Cadbury World for Christmas, from our Santa Show to festive afternoon tea, and of course the UK’s biggest Cadbury shop. It really is a magical place to celebrate the festive season!”
The whole thing is 70cm wide, weighs 30kg, and took four days to create.
It is on display at the Bournville site from 11-31 December.
