Teenager seriously injured after hit-and-run in Bilston

A teenager is in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries after he was hit by a car in Bilston.

Officers say the 17-year-old was hit whilst on a Sur-Ron bike in a car park near the junction with Hare Street.

The car, a suspected silver Ford Kuga (pictured), didn't stop at the scene.

Investigation work has revealed that it was on false plates.

CCTV is being reviewed and door-to-door enquiries are continuing.

Officers are appealing to anyone with footage or information to contact them by calling 101 quoting crime reference 20/144644/26.
