13 teens arrested after man attacked in Wolverhampton
The man in his 40s was attacked in Victoria Square, Wolverhampton, last night.
13 teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of assault after a man was attacked in Wolverhampton yesterday.
The man in his 40s was taken to hospital after it happened in Victoria Square at around 6pm.
Police are examining CCTV and speaking to witnesses as part of their enquiries.
West Midlands Police said on their website: "We understand that this incident will have been shocking for anyone who witnessed the attack and we urge anyone who has footage of the incident to share it with us rather than sharing it wider on social media."
Extra officers will be patrolling the area today and over the weekend.
