Yellow weather warning as thunderstorms forecast for Berkshire and Hampshire
Summer has barely begun and its already feeling very British with hot sunny spells followed by thunderstorms.
A yellow weather warning has been issued by the Met Office which covers Surrey and Hampshire.
The warning also covers much of southern England on Thursday (23 March), with the risk of torrential downpours which may cause travel disruption and, in a few places, flooding.
The yellow thunderstorm warning is in place between 10am and 11.59pm.
