Police have released CCTV images of witnesses officers would like to speak to as they may have vital information following a rape in Reading.

At around 2am (please note - the clocks went back at this time, so it was officially 1am GMT) on Sunday 30 October 2022, the victim and a man left Q Club on Friar Street, Reading.

As they were walking onto Queen Victoria Street the individuals pictured spoke to the victim.

The victim and the man then carried on walking.

The offence took place later that night.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Amy Hennah, based at Reading police station, said:

“I am releasing CCTV images of four individuals we would like to speak to as witnesses in respect of this rape investigation.

“I believe that these individuals may have vital information that would assist the investigation. I am particularly keen to speak to the woman dressed in the skeleton outfit who spoke to the victim or the man in the peach t-shirt.

“If you recognise any of these individuals, or you believe one of them is you, I would urge you to make contact with Thames Valley Police, quoting reference number 43220490034.

“I would reiterate that we believe they are witnesses, and they may have information to assist us in our investigation.

“You can contact Thames Valley Police online or by calling 101.”
