Witness appeal following Reading sexual assault

Police in Reading are appealing for witnesses following a reported sexual assault last month.

At around 10.30pm on 17 April, a woman in her twenties was approached by a man on Kings Road and is said to have touched her inappropriately over her clothing.

The victim didn't suffer any injuries during this incident.

A 33-year-old man from the town has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault and released on bail until 1 June.

Investigating officer, PC Ben Jackson, based at Reading police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened, to please come forward.
