Police appeal for witness after Bracknell rape

A member of the public spoke to the victim shortly before she was attacked

Police are appealing to a specific witness following a rape in Bracknell.

On Wednesday 13 March, a woman was raped between 10pm and 11.59pm.

A short time before the incident, the victim spoke with a member of the public, on Great Hollands Road's junction with Holbeck.

The member of public had asked if she was ok as she appeared intoxicated.

The victim declined an offer for help and the member of public drove off.

The member of public is described as a man who was in a dark car.

Arrest

Investigating officer Detective Constable Rachel Pithers said:

“I am appealing for a specific witness to please come forward.

“We have been conducting a thorough investigation following this incident and have made an arrest.

“I’d also like to appeal to any further witnesses who may have seen what happened to make a report.
