Police describe attack as 'senseless'
Police are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage at West Berkshire Museum in Newbury.
The incident happened between 4.30pm on Saturday 25 June and 4.45pm on Sunday 26 June
An historic window located on the west side of the Grade 1 listed property in The Wharf was smashed.
Investigating officer, PC Colin Boyes said:
“This is a senseless offence, damaging a window at West Berkshire Museum, which is a Grade 1 listed property.
“Unfortunately, between 2016 and 2022 there has been five incidents of criminal damage to the property’s historic windows.
