Weather warning for thunderstorms in Berkshire & Hampshire

The Met office has issued a weather warning for Thunderstorms to hit the region on Wednesday evening.

They say the unsettled weather is moving north from the near continent.

The yellow alert says Berkshire and Hampshire could face localised disruption to power, and surface water making driving potentially treacherous.

Meantime yesterday (Mon) was the hottest day of the year with 29.7 celsius recorded at Bushy Park in Teddington.
