'Lord of the flies' was named 'best regional production during an awards show at the London palladium.

Last summer's production -which featured a cast of twenty - attracted 17,000 people during its two and a half month run.

In winning it beat off competition from well known theatres including The Royal Court in Liverpool and Bristol's Old Vic.

2023 was the first year the theatre operated after losing all of its Arts Council funding in what at the time was a devastating blow.
