WW2 device found near to Windsor Castle

A device believed to be from World War II, has been made safe after being discovered in a car park near to Eton High Street.

A 50 metre cordon was put in place at 630 last night and around 50 residents were asked to evacuate their homes as a precaution.

An Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was called in and the all clear was given around two hours later.
