Police in Reading name wanted man

They say you shouldn't approach him if you spot him

Thames Valley Police is appealing for the public’s help in tracing a man who is wanted in connection with an assault at Earley in Reading.

Hamza Quadri, aged 29, is being sought in relation to an assault in Eastcourt Avenue at around 7.30pm on 3 January.

Quadri is an Asian man, roughly 5ft 9ins tall, and has dark hair and a dark beard.

Investigating officer, PC Daniel Cook, based at Loddon Valley police station, said:

“Enquiries have been ongoing to locate Hamza Quadri, in relation to this assault but we are now appealing for the public’s help.

“If you see Quadri, do not approach him and call 999 instead. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, please call 101 or make a report on our website quoting reference number 43240003950.

“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
