Police in Berkshire appeal for help to find wanted man
Alexander Findlay failed to appear at court to face serious charges
Police are appealing for help in finding a man from Berkshire who skipped a court appearance.
Alexander Findlay, aged 26, of no fixed abode but from the Windsor and Maidenhead area, failed to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 16 January.
He was charged with one count each of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit, possession of a controlled drug of class A, namely heroin, driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and use of a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance.
The charges relate to offences on Chiltern Road, Bray, Berkshire, on 19 May last year.
Findlay is of slim build, is 5ft 7ins tall and has a local accent.
Investigating officer Luke Jenkins said:
“Enquiries have been ongoing to locate Alexander Findlay but we are now appealing for the public’s help.
“If you know where he is or may have seen him, call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230023585. If you see him, do not approach him and call 999 instead.
