Police say two men suffered serious injuries

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses to a violent disorder incident in Reading.

Between 8pm – 9pm on Thursday (12/12), several men were involved in an altercation – involving the use of a weapon – on Gower Street and Oxford Road.

Two men in their twenties sustained serious injuries which required hospital treatment. They have both been discharged.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Peter Principi said:

“I am appealing to anyone who may have seen this incident or has any information that can assist my investigation.

“I am also appealing to anyone with dash-cam, doorbell or mobile phone footage to please get in touch.
