Two people treated by paramedics after kitchen fire in Maidenhead
It broke out in a property on Hungerford Drive just after midday Monday (6 October) - with three crews called to put it out.
Two people have been rescued from a kitchen fire in Maidenhead.
Crews from three stations were called to a property on Hungerford Drive, after it broke out at 12:19pm on Monday (6 October).
Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews from Maidenhead and Slough fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside two Officers and one crew from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service.
Upon arrival, crews found a kitchen fire. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus rescued two people from the property and used one hose reel to put out the fire.
Firefighters gave immediate emergency care to one person and placed them in the care of South Central Ambulance Service. Crews also used a ventilation fan to clear the smoke from the property.
They were on scene for approximately one hour and 12 minutes.
The cause of the blaze hasn't been confirmed yet.
