Two more people have been arrested over the murder of a man in High Wycombe.

The 35 and 25-year-old men have been detained on suspicion of murdering Andrew Ballantyne in the early hours of Saturday.

Two others have already been charged and are in court today.

The 55-year-old was found unresponsive on the ground in Micklefield Road High Wycombe.

Sadly, Mr Ballantyne died at the scene.

His family is being supported by specially trained officers.

Daniel Ramsey, aged 25, of Micklefield Road in High Wycombe, and Nickolas Williams, aged 25, of Gibbs Close in High Wycombe, who are both charged with murder, will appear at Reading Crown Court today.

Mr Ballantyne's family have issued a tribute to him:

“Andrew was a whole-hearted person, who would anyone who asked him to help them.

“He was a man who was committed to his family, he was the heart of the family and was a committed son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

“Anything Andrew did, he put his heart and soul into.

“He had a deep passion for cars and he was a peacemaker in the community, talking to young people to change their ways.

“May his soul rest in peace.”
