Three charged after firearms found in Andover property
It's after a warrant on Wednesday morning
Three people have been charged, after officers carrying out a warrant in Andover recovered two firearms.
Officers carried out the warrant at an address in Acre Court on the morning of Wednesday 12 November.
A sawn-off shotgun and a pistol, along with ammunition, were found inside the address.
Suspected Class A drugs, mobile phones and cash were also seized.
Four arrests were made.
An investigation has been opened and three people have now been charged.
Teejay Stainer, 20, and Amanda Sinclair, 56, both of Acre Court, Andover have each been charged with:
Two counts of possession of a firearm
Possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate
Being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug
Being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis
A 17-year-old girl from Andover has been charged with two counts of possession of a firearm and one count of possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate.
All three people were remanded to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 14 November).
A 44-year-old man from Andover, who was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm without a certificate, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
