Three burglaries reported near Alton in North Hampshire in one day

Police are appealing for witnesses after three properties in Four Marks near Alton were burgled.

Household items, cash and jewellery were stolen last Thursday (5 August) from addresses on Soldridge Road, Weathermore Lane and Brislands Lane.

Officers say entry was forced - and all three were reported as having taken place during the day from 7am to 4:30pm.

They say a suspect was seen leaving the Soldridge Road address in a small black car.

He is described as being a white man, around 5ft 6ins with a medium build, in his late 40s, with short brown hair. He was also described as wearing dark clothes.

Police are asking if anyone saw anything, or has doorbell or dash-cam footage, to contact them on 101, quoting reference 44210311336.
