Thames Valley Police have carried out five warrants at addresses across West Berkshire, Wokingham and Hampshire policing area under Section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.

They say four arrests have been made for a variety of offences concerning conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit theft. All suspects remain in police custody at this time.

Organised crime

Senior investigating officer Detective Inspector Francesca Jarvis said:

“There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to help tackle organised criminality. I hope that these warrants demonstrate that we take reports of burglary seriously and will take action to deal with criminality and organised crime in your local area.

“The information from the public around offences relating to burglary and theft in the Thames Valley plays an important role in developing intelligence into a proactive investigation.

“If you have any further information we would encourage you to report it to us by calling 101 or through the online reporting via our website.”
