Teenage boy suffers facial injuries following assault in park in Basingstoke
Hampshire Police have issued an appeal after the incident on Thursday

A teenage boy has suffered facial injuries after being assaulted in Basingstoke.
Police say the youngster was attacked in the War Memorial Park between 5.30pm and 6pm on Thursday 25th August.
They had received reports that he was approached by a group in the McDonald's in the town centre, before a row broke out.
A 15-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause GBH with intent and later released under investigation.
A force statement said: "We are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was assaulted in Basingstoke on Thursday night (August 25th).
"The incident happened at the War Memorial Park between 5.30pm and 6pm.
"It was reported the boy had been approached by a group in the McDonald's restaurant in the town centre, and an argument had taken place.
"When in the park, the boy was assaulted, suffering facial injuries.
"Officers have been conducting enquiries and a 15-year-old girl from Basingstoke has been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. She has been released under investigation.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who may have information which can further assist our investigation.
