Police appeal for 'topless' man in his thirties

Police are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing in Wokingham.

The incident occurred on Tuesday (9/3) between 8.30pm and 8.50pm in Latimer Road.

The victim, a 38-year-old man, was involved in a confrontation with a man outside a property.

This resulted in the victim being stabbed. He left the scene and attended hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

The offender is a white man aged in his early 30s. During the offence, he did not have a top on.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector John Wordsworth, based at Loddon Valley police station, said:

“This was a serious assault in which a man was stabbed and he is receiving ongoing hospital treatment.

“I would like to speak to anyone who saw this assault, or who has any other information which they think could be relevant to our investigation.
