Seven schoolchildren injured in Slough traffic collision

Seven schoolchildren have been injured following a road traffic collision in Slough.

Around 3.25pm yesterday (19 November) on Cippenham Lane, outside of Westgate School, a collision has taken place between a black Audi and a red Hyundai.

The impact caused the Hyundai to collide into a number of schoolchildren who were walking on the pavement.

Six children received treatment for minor injuries and one child required hospital treatment and has since been discharged.

There have been no arrests made at this time.

Investigating officer PC Mark Drewett, said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area to check dash cam or CCTV footage, as even the smallest detail could be vital to our investigation.

“If you witnessed the collision, have information, or hold any digital media that might help, please call 101 or submit a report via our website."
