Police search for boy after series of sex assaults in Bracknell

There have been three incidents in 48 hours

Police are appealing for information following a spate of sexual assaults in Bracknell.

At around 10.50pm on Tuesday (5/7), a male touched the victim, a woman in her twenties, inappropriately over her clothing in South Hill Park.

At around 7.30am yesterday (6/7), a male cyclist touched another victim, a woman in her twenties, inappropriately over her clothing on a footpath that runs behind South Hill Park towards Village Hotel.

Then at around 8.20am yesterday, a male touched a third victim, a girl in her teens, inappropriately over her clothing in South Hill Park.

The offender is described as a white boy aged between 14 and 16.

Inspector Elton Evans, based at Bracknell police station, said:

“Thames Valley Police takes violence against woman and girls extremely seriously and is committed to preventing harm and bringing offenders to justice.

“I am appealing to anybody who witnessed these incidents or has any information about them or the suspect to please get in touch with us.

“We believe the offender is the same person for all three incidents and have increased our patrols around South Hill Park as a result.

“I would encourage anyone with concerns to please speak to one of our uniformed officers.

“If you have any CCTV footage in the area or any dash-cam footage if you were driving in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.
