Man from Tadley charged in connection with sex assaults

He'll appear in court at the end of the month

Officers investigating a report of sexual assault in Basingstoke have charged a man.

59-year-old Mohammed Salam from Hangar Road, Tadley, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.

One count is in relation to an incident in Basingstoke on Friday 26 August, while the second count relates to an incident in Tadley on Thursday 25 August.

Salam appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 1 September.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday 28 September.
