Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in crash near Reading

Police appeal for witnesses to Easter weekend collision

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision near Purley on Thames.

The collision happened around 5pm yesterday (8/4) involving a Lifan LF 125 motorbike and a blue Tesla on the A329 Purley Rise, between Pangbourne and Purley on Thames.

The motorcyclist sustained severe injuries to both legs and remains in hospital at this time.

The A329 between Purley-on-Thames and Pangbourne was closed for around 4 hours

Investigating officer, PC Adam Price, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said:

“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to please come forward.

“We’d also ask any motorists to check dash-cam footage in case it has captured something too.

“Anyone with information can contact police by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting reference 43230154097.”
