Man suffers serious head injury in Andover assault

Police called to town centre in the early hours of Saturday

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted in Andover early on Saturday morning (30 September).

They were called at 3.18am by the Ambulance Service reporting that a man had been assaulted in the car park on George Yard.

Officers attended and a 39-year-old man was located with a serious head injury.

He has been taken to hospital for treatment.

A 20-year-old man, a 23-year-old man, and two 24-year-old men, all from Andover, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. They remain in custody at this time.
