Second man charged with Reading cyclist murder

Police were called to Addington Road near teh Royal Berkshire hospital late on Valentine's night

A second man has been charged with the murder of a cyclist in Reading.

Soiheem Hussain, aged 27, of Rossby, Shinfield was charged with one count of murder yesterday (29/2).

The charge is in connection with the death of Vignesh Raman, aged 36, who was found in Addington Road on Wednesday 14 February following a road traffic collision between a cyclist and a vehicle.

Vignesh Raman was sadly declared deceased at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and a murder investigation was launched.

Hussain was arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday (28/2) and is due to appear at Reading Magistrates Court today (1/3).

A 20-year-old woman from Reading was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender on Wednesday 21 February, and has been released on bail.
