Second man charged in connection with Burnham murder

A second man has been charged in connection with murder following the death of a 35-year-old man in Burnham.

Martin Fleming, aged 20, of Bideford Spur, Slough, will appear at Reading Magistrates Court today having been charged with one count of murder.

It follows police being called at around 1.10pm on Sunday to Wyndham Crescent following reports of an altercation.

The 35-year-old man who collapsed and sadly died has been formally identified as Beau Robinson, aged 35, from Burnham.

Daniel Hicks, aged 30, of no fixed abode, was also charged with one count of murder and one count of possession of a knife blade/sharply pointed article in a public place.

He appeared in court yesterday and has been remanded in custody until Tuesday (29/6) when he is due to appear at Reading Crown Court.

Meanwhile A 32-year-old man and 36-year-old man from Slough who were arrested on suspicion of murder have been released under investigation.

A 28-year-old man of no fixed abode and a 37-year-old woman from Burnham have also been release under investigation after being arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
