Reading man arrested on suspicion of murder after body found
A person was reported missing last month
A man from Reading has been arrested by Thames Valley Police on suspicion of murder.
It is in connection with the discovery of a person's body in Erith in south-east London on Wednesday (15 September).
Police say a missing person inquiry had started on 24 August after reports someone had gone missing from the Reading area.
The person’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The 47 year old suspect is currently in police custody.
