Police appeal after serious Reading collision
Thames Valley Police have launched an appeal for witnesses following a three vehicle serious collision on the A329M on Monday.
At approximately 3pm a Tesla, a highways’ lorry and a blue Audi Q2 were involved in the collision.
The female driver of the Audi, sustained serious injuries, including a broken collar bone and broken ribs and was treated in hospital, she has since been discharged from hospital.
A 55-year-old man from Richmond-upon-Thames has been released under investigation after he was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and driving a motor vehicle while over the prescribed limit for alcohol.
Investigating officer PC Jon Wildridge of the Roads Policing Unit, said: “This collison has occurred on a busy stretch of the A329M in the middle of the afternoon, and I’m confident there will have been witnesses to what has happened.
“I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this, or who may have dash-cam footage, to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
