Potential disruption warned to several locations from Reading due to flooding

Passengers in Reading are being warned to check before they travel due to flooding affecting a number of destinations.

Routes between London Paddington and Swansea via Bristol Parkway & London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads via Swindon are closed owing to flooding, with severe disruption expected to last until midday.

Passengers are advised not to attempt to travel on these routes.

Heavy rain from Storm Claudia has caused severe flooding at a number of locations across the Western route, meaning trains are not able to pass through.
