A serving Thames Valley Police officer who was training in Berkshire has been charged with a sexual offence in Milton Keynes.

Student officer Jake Wilson, aged 23, has been charged with one count of sexual assault.

The charge relates to an allegation that Wilson sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl in Milton Keynes, whilst off-duty, in December, last year.

He was arrested on 30 January this year and charged on Thursday 10 October.

Wilson is due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on 12 November.

Wilson is a student officer, training in Sulhamstead near Reading, and is currently suspended from duty, following his arrest.
