Police name man they want to trace over robbery in Reading

Public warned not to approach him

Thames Valley Police is appealing for help in tracing a man who is wanted in connection with a robbery in Reading.

27-year-old Marcin Morkso is wanted in relation to the incident that took place on 9 April this year in Woods Road, Caversham.

At 3.30pm on that day, a 35-year-old man was assaulted inside his property. He sustained bruising to his face but did not require hospital treatment.

Investigating officer, DC Susan Proctor, from Reading police station, said:

“We are appealing for help in locating Marcin Morkso, who is wanted in connection with this incident whereby a 35-year-old man was assaulted.

“Morkso is described as 6ft 4ins tall and has a medium build. He has a brown beard and a shaved head and also wears glasses. He could be in the Reading area, but also has links in Bradford in West Yorkshire.

“Officers want to speak to him about this incident, so I would also appeal for Marcin Morsko himself to please get in touch with police.

“If you see him, please do not approach him but call police instead.

“Alternatively, anyone with information on where Morsko could be are urged to make a report online, or call 101, quoting reference 43210149356.

“You can also make a report 100% anonymously by calling the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
