Police name victim in Reading murder investigation
His next of kin are being supported
Police have confirmed the identity of the victim in an ongoing murder investigation in Reading.
The body of a man was discovered in Erith, London, on Wednesday (15 September).
The man has been formally identified as Duane Denny, aged 46.
Duane was reported missing to Thames Valley Police on 24 August, and a missing person investigation was launched.
Duane’s next of kin are being supported by specially trained Family Liaison Officers.
A 47-year-old man from Reading, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, remains in police custody.
