Police appealing for witnesses after a fight in Reading.

At around 5.20pm on Wednesday (12/5) officers received reports of a confrontation in the Kennet Island area of Reading, believed to be near Longships Way, Fair Isle Way and Rushley Way.

Two 18-year-old men from Reading were arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. They have been released on police bail.

PC Henry Jones, based at Reading police station, said:

“I am appealing for witnesses following this incident, and would urge anyone with information to please come forward.
