Police investigate attempted burglaries near Kingsclere

Both happened in the early hours of Wednesday (25 August)

A witness appeal has been launched over attempted burglaries in North Hampshire.

At 2.34am on Wednesday (25 August), officers were called to reports of two unknown males trying to gain access to a property on Winchester Road near Kingsclere.

The suspects, who were both wearing dark clothing, were disturbed and fled the scene.

30 minutes later, Hampshire Police received a second report of another attempted break in at a property 10 miles away on Park Lane, near West End Green.

Two men wearing dark clothing were seen.

Nothing was reported stolen at either property and police say there is nothing to suggest the incidents are linked.
