Police in Reading hunt men with firearm

Three men approached victims and tried to get into their car

Police are appealing for witnesses following a firearms incident in Reading.

Between 1.30am and 1.55am on Saturday (29/10), the victims, a man in his twenties and three females, pulled their car onto a driveway in Junction Road when a group of men approached the vehicle.

One of the offenders appeared to have a firearm and attempted to gain access to the vehicle.

The victims drove away.

Descriptions

The first offender is described as a man, of slim build, around 5ft 11ins tall. He was wearing a green coat, grey trousers with a black stripe, white shoes and a white and black snood covering his face.

The second offender is described as a man, of slim build, around 5ft 11ins tall, wearing all black/blue clothes including a coat, tracksuit bottoms and shoes. He was also wearing a black/blue cap and a white snood covering his face.

The third offender is described as a man, of large build, around 5ft 11ins tall, wearing a black jumper, blue coat, green bottoms and white shoes. He was also wearing a black snood, covering his face.

Investigating officer, PC Brandon Morley, based at Reading police station, said:

“We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed what happened or who has information about what happened to please come forward.
