Police appeal after report of man looking under cubicles at pub in Andover
A 64-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of observing a person doing a private act, has been bailed
Hampshire Police are appealing for witness to come forward as part of an Andover voyeurism investigation.
Officers were called to a report that a man was looking under cubicles inside The John Russell Fox pub female toilets at around 10.30pm on 27 July.
They launched an investigation and arrested a 64-year-old man from Andover on suspicion of observing a person doing a private act. He has been bailed with conditions to allow for further enquiries to be carried out.
As part of police enquiries, officers have identified a woman who may have seen the man inside the toilets. She had long hair and was wearing a dark jumper that was off the shoulder.
Hampshire Police said: "The woman was not observed by the man, and we would like to stress she is not in trouble – officers would just like to speak with her as a potential significant witness.
"It was also reported that the man, who has been described as white, aged in his 60s, and wearing glasses, entered the female toilets inside The Redbridge pub on Bridge Street between 5.20pm and 8.20pm on the same day."
Officers would like to hear from any potential witnesses who were in either pub at the time.
If you are the woman in the image, of if you have any information, police are asking you to call 101, quoting 44250337126.
