Police appeal for man in connection with shoplifting and assault in Wokingham
Officers say they're looking for a man in relation to shopliftings between July and November and an assault which happened on 13 December at Howlett Grove in Wokingham
Police are appealing for help to trace a man wanted in connection with shopliftings and an assault in Wokingham.
The incidents happened between July and November, whilst Thames Valley Police say the assault happened earlier this month on Howlett Grove.
They're urging anyone with information about the 36-year-old they're looking to chat with to get in touch with them by calling 999.
Police say Michael Campion is being sought in relation to shopliftings which occurred between July and November and an incident of assault which occurred at around 7.20pm on 13 December at Howlett Grove.
He's a white man, around 6ft 4ins tall and of heavy build - and has a teardrop tattoo on his face under his eye.
Investigating officer PC Amelia Sergent said: “Enquiries have been going to locate Michael Campion in relation to shopliftings and an assault but we are now appealing for the public’s help.
“Campion frequents the Norrey’s Estate, Wokingham Town Centre and Embrook.
“If you see Campion, do not approach him and call 999 instead. If you have any information regarding his whereabouts, please call 101 or make a report on our website quoting reference number 43230320399.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
