Police renew appeal over fatal collision in Basingstoke

A 23-year-old man has died after a two-car crash 11 days ago

Police are renewing their appeals for witnesses to a car crash in Basingstoke.

Four people were taken to hospital with serious injuries after the two-car collision on Roman Road a week last Saturday.

Police say one of them - a 23-year-old man from Basingstoke - has now died.

A 52-year-old woman and an 82-year-old man - both from Basingstoke - remain in hospital.

A 34-year-old woman from Basingstoke has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

She has been released under investigation.
