People dress as Penguins for Hampshire Hospitals Charity
They're taking on an assault course - dressed as Penguins
The Hampshire Hospitals Charity is holding a penguin themed fundraising event at Wellington Country Park near Reading.
The Big Penguin Challenge will see people dress in penguin onesies - to take on a giant inflatable obstacle course.
The Big Penguin Challenge is open to all abilities, from first time fun runners to experienced adrenaline seekers.
People will be dressed as a penguin and along the they’ll encounter giant slides, inflatable obstacles and foam pits to slip, slide, waddle or fly over.
The route is circular and will take people 5km around the main park and through the camp site.
Mini penguins have been placed around Basingstoke and Andover lately and anyone who has found one can scan the accompanying QR code to claim free entry to today’s event (Saturday 9th November).
Hampshire Hospitals Charity plays a key role in enhancing the wellbeing of, and support for, NHS staff, patients and volunteers at Andover War Memorial Hospital, Basingstoke & North Hampshire Hospital and Royal County Hospital Winchester.
